Do you think husbands of SAHMs should not have to do anything besides work?

My sister just had her first baby a month ago and has decided to be a SAHM. Her sons doctor thinks he has colic....he is very high needs and my sister gets little to no sleep. Ive been coming over on my days off to give her some rest... Her husband thinks he shouldn't have to lift a finger because he works 8 hours a day. He tells her that he works 9 hours,so coming home is his down time. What??!?!? My sister is working 24 hours a day with no down time..how is that fair? It makes me so mad.. Is it common for your spouse to act like that or is my brother in law just special?

My baby always cries when she's near me?

I don't know why, but my one month-old baby always cries when I hold her or when she's near me unless I'm feeding her - and usually she cries and cries and cries UNTIL I give her milk. She cries when her diaper's changed, her tummy's full and she's all burped. No matter what, she's always crying. It frustrates me because she doesn't cry when her father, or my mother and father, are holding her. She's been like this since I returned home from the hospital after I delivered. My sister suggested colic, but that can't be it if she's quiet with my parents and husband. All she wants from me is milk, and even though I KNOW she's full, she'll hunt around with her mouth when I'm holding her, expecting me to feed her again. I breastfeed and supplement with formula. I would breastfeed only, but when the constant flow of breastmilk decreases, she starts biting and pulling away, wanting more, so I always give her 20 mL more.

tried everything please help?

what is the best formula to give your baby that has colic an problems passing gas

Baby not sleeping at night?

Most nights without fail, my 3 week baby wakes up and moans for anything between 2-4 hours. I have tried everything nothing seems to soothe her and make her sleep. Even when I do get her to sleep she's awake and staring around 10 minutes later before crying again. I don't think she's in a deep enough sleep. I put her on the breast but she only sleeps (if it works) till my nipple falls out sorry to much info. She won't take a pacifier. She just squirms and crys more if I hold it in she will eventually sook on it but again she can't seem to keep it in so this doesn't keep her quiet long. I can tell she's knackered!! How can I make her tick over?? This only happens at night! I have tried rocking her, pacifier, nursing her, skin to skin, colic medicine, I'm wondering if perhaps formula milk would be better for night time feeds?? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
